This volume in the series “Les Éditions Originales Durand · Salabert · Eschig” contains Joaqu n Turina’s Danses Gitanes op. 55 (1930) and 84 (1934) for piano taken from the editions in Salabert catalogue. The original engravings arereproduced, giving musicians a valuable record of how these major works were first published, whether in the composer’s lifetime or posthumously. Turina’s two sets of Danses gitanes are among his best-loved piano works.
